Why mobilizing youth is important?
It is a great investment for ministry to train, mobilize and equipped youth to do ministry! Being part of the Training Department of Youth Mobilization, I am thankful for a privilege to see youth from different churches joining themselves to missions. It’s either volunteering themselves to different ministries or fully grasps the call for a short-term mission, it’s very fulfilling to see their desires to help out ministries. Not only me, one of their trainors is happy, but also the ministry, itself is benefiting from their commitment to serve. That’s why we see great potentials to the youth we are training because we know, in time, they will become great leaders who will take lead of the ministry.
What are advantages of equipping the youth?
There are many advantages of equipping them. Two of them are:
1. We want to see ministries still running in the future.
I saw, personally, ministries who died or stopped because of the people leading it are old enough to go to another journey. Off course, we are growing and changing. We cannot deny it. God call them for another purpose and let’s face the truth that we are getting old. Some things we can do will someday we just can’t do because we are getting old. That’s why, if we love to see the ministries running still because we believe to the purpose of the ministries, it’s a good call to train future leaders who have potentials to lead or even level up the ministries. Let’s pass the baton to them, trust them, train them, and support them, for we know God will enhance them to be great leaders. I am a big testimony. If there’s noone invested to train me, I would never be what I am right now. I owe a big one to people who are training me, mentoring me and equipping me. I thank God for their commitment to the ministry by investing in my life.
2. Not only one but many.
By investing to the lives of the youth, we are not only helping one specific ministry but different ministries that a youth can help. Most of our youth today are blessed to have technologies that they can use to do multi-task works, involved in different ministries and get connected to many kind people. Not only that, they are also very gifted (like music, theater, writings, teaching etc.) that they can use to blessed ministries. What a nice way to support ministries. We are not only blessing ministries but we also investing to lives that will eventually continue to works of the ministries in the future.
Why we need your support?
Mostly of our partner churches that we are helping came from an urban community and have self-supporting ministries. We are challenged to see their church grow to their full potential that’s why we are training and equipping their youth to respond to the call of service and be a blessing to their churches. The task is great and we need all help we can get. Your help is a blessing not only to us but to the youth and their churches.
In what ways you can help?
You can support us thru prayers. Time to time we are sending prayer letters. And if you want to pray with us, you can email me (mackie_youthmob@hotmail.com) and I will get back to you and put you in our prayer partner list. Your prayer is a big encouragement to us, let us know your desire to pray with us.
You can support us by being a Training Department worker. If you have skills, talents or gifting that will blessed youth, come and be part of the training team. We are in need of volunteers/intern/full-time workers. If you want to take part, please contact Anne Benavidez (open_heavens777@yahoo.com). She is the Training Department Director and the best person to get connected if you want to be part of us.
You can also support us thru financial giving. Training Department is geared up with trainings, seminars and workshops that will surely blessed the youth and their churches. We are in need of fundings and resources. Any amount you can give is a great help and will be highly appreciated. Send Anne or me an email if you are interested to support us thru financial giving.
Imagine numerous youth getting trained, equipped and involved to the ministry, their lives changed because of your investment, and imagine how far they can reach, WOW! Surely countless results and many lives will be touched thru their lives. What a great way to support ministries!
I would love to share with you how God is working with Youth Mobilization to bring change in the lives of people. Truly, what a joy to see someone's life changed and it is very exciting to be part of it, by God's grace.

I love the church.
I love the church.
Last Friday, I had a mentoring time with Joshua (YM team leader). He opened our mentoring with a question of how am I doing concerning my status in Jesus King of Kings Community Church.
For some or most of you who didn’t know what happened to me about the church, Brett (who is currently pastoring the church) asked me to find another church. He asked me to find another church not because I doing some sort of disrespect to the church. That is clear that I didn’t do any disrespect nor disobedience. But it is because he (as the pastor) can’t handle my spiritual growth. He admitted that he failed me in terms of pastoring me. That’s the reason why he asked me to find another church. So, in respect of his leadership and I don’t want to disobeyed what God instituted, I humbly submitted and followed.
Back to my mentor’s question, my answer is very simple. “I love the church”. I love the church that’s why even the pastor asked me to find another church, I will still continue to help to the extend of what I can. I will help even in a simple way. Even without position or recognition. I don’t need those. I believe that there’s no law against love. As long as we do everything in love, I know we are doing what God instructed us to do. I don’t need a leadership role to help my friends in the church. I don’t need recognition to visit, counsel, encourage, uplift and pray for them. I love my church that why I care and I assured them that I will still be here, near to them when ever they need me or my help. They are not burden to me. I love serving them in all I can. God blessed me that is why I want to be a blessing to them.
When my mentor heard that, he commended me and keeps on encouraging me to love the church regardless of no position nor recognition. I was encouraged so much by his affirming gestures and exhorting me to not getting tired doing good.
What I am really praising God is the friendship with in the workers and friends in the church. There were times, they were the ones who reminded me that there’s no circumstances that will separate me from them. They continue to call me as their pastor, a big proof that pastor is not a position I get but a relationship they give.
Be:E will start this coming Sunday and I wont be teaching it. But students told me that they are still praying that someday God will bring me back as their teacher. I was encouraged so much of their love to me. And I really thank God for them.
I know I am not worthy, I have failed, I have sinned but by the grace of God I stand, standing back again. He promise restoration to those who repent. Who am I compared to great people around me, I have nothing but only God’s grace. That’s where I stand and that’s why I am here. His grace enables me to love the church.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
Love
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
